Add custom data fields to records across your system.

Overview

Custom Fields let you extend your data model by adding custom fields to various record types. This allows you to capture information specific to your business needs.

Supported Record Types

  • Bills, Contacts, Customers, Deals
  • Estimates, Invoices, Items, Jobs
  • Leads, Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, Sites

System Custom Fields

You can also add custom fields to system types: Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm, Fire Suppression, and Sprinkler.

What You Can Do

  • Add fields — Create text, number, date, dropdown, checkbox, and other field types
  • Organize fields — Group and order fields as needed
  • Edit or delete — Modify or remove custom fields

How to Access

Navigate to Settings → Custom Fields. Available when the Custom Fields module is enabled.
